    Working on my "86" 6.9 idi. I've got my injectors apart cleaning and re-shimming the pop pressure. I can't find the proper torque for the two piece injector body (the 15mm 12 point on the bottom), I find the 1 inch injector body to the head (35 ft. lbs.) but not the other. Thanks

    Forgot to answer the question on timing. I couldn't find anyone local that could time it, they all said they just go by ear, so I studied it a bit and that's what I did, I advanced it just enough to be a little noisy and it ran great, over time it has quieted down considerably.
