    On the off-chance you have a Dana 60 front axle you might be missing the steering shock. I recently was chasing a significant vibration that would kick in around 35-40 and it turned out to be the steering shock. $70 and 1hr later and problem fixed.

    I wonder if the new lift pump is faulty in some way? Does this happen with both front and rear tanks? Does the FuelFilter light come on when this happens? Does it happen with a full tank as well as near empty?

    There is a cross member that needs a little shaving to make the filter fit--not much but at least on my truck there was no way the filter would line up with the threads before grinding.

    when I installed my trackbar I had already been driving it so wheels were on and truck was parked level--trackbar bolted up perfectly with no fighting. I had also installed new front leafs at stock height and new poly bushings in front shackles.

    That's what I would do. In fact, I would probably just use male and female spade connectors with plenty of heat shrink and call it good. As long as the connection is solid and protected I can't see the type of connector being an issue in regards to how the tach functions.

    As to #2, the hard line from lift pump to filter housing isn't under much pressure at all and can be swapped to 3/8 hose with ring clamps--though I prefer 3/8 fuel injector line clamps. I can't recall for sure but I think the filter head inlet is 1/4 NPT--a site search will find that info...
