    I got the tires rotated and balanced. Then I washed it all up. Practically ready for date night. I’d love to muster up the effort to buff the entire truck because I’m sure it’d look less dull.

    My injection pump gear cover had what I thought was a small leak and ever since I fixed it I realized that it actually lost a lot of oil out of there. A lot more than I initially thought

    Me and the homie took our jet skis out. It was fairly Smokey because of the fires up north (California) but still made for a fun trip. The truck is doing great, I’ve put a crap ton of miles on it

    Egts are around 650-750 doing 70 on the freeway and about 6 psi of boost now after timing. I noticed that it seems like it has less low end but pulls harder in the mid-higher range of rpm’s. I’m excited to see what kinda fuel mileage I’ll get out of it

    Gosh I wish California wasn’t so expensive. Its so nice to be able to drive an hour in each direction and either see an ocean or the mountains.

    Me and @Dane Rickford finally got the chance to meet up in the mountains. We spent about 3 hours figuring out how to start the little charcoal barbecue that I brought and then I burnt some hot dogs for us. We timed my truck finally and it was a little retarded. Was a nice day out too!

    Averaged 14 mpg with 75% city and 25% freeway. Just filled up for 3.99 a gallon, and that’s cheap! #california

    Yeah he drives it every day. I was just saying as far as for Peace of mind with how many miles it has. I will definitely be studding it. It might not need anything at all, but if it is going in place of my 6.9 I’d just want to be sure it will last a solid amount of time, you know?

    Some more background on the engine I bought. It’s a 94 turbo engine so it has all the good stuff. It comes with the turbo kit. The guy swapped it into a bumpside highboy, and now he’s pulling it to put a 7.3 psd in it. How rad is that!? My friend is in need of a turbo kit so I’m gonna clean it...

    I cleaned out my garage the other day and remember that underneath all of my clutter I have some really nice n/a heads. Along with those I had a bunch of random bolts and stuff. Figured I’d throw they on Facebook marketplace and see if anybody was interested. Maybe I’ll get a little pocket...

    @Dane Rickford has been busy so I’ll say it for him. A little while ago he took a trip and I believe it was about 600 miles. He was running pretty close to 3000 rpm the whole trip if I remember correctly. I think he did all right on fuel too.
