Well I had to use my truck over last weekend thought someone mention about locking the front hubs.. I was shocked on how well the truck drove didn't jerk once. I drove a total of 160 miles since I locked the hubs.
I really don't drive the truck much since I'm usually in my work vehicle 8-12...
I took my truck to have it looked at at 2 different places One said it was the king pins. The other one told me I need all new bushings on my steering stabilizers, track bar and replace all U-joint including Axle joints. Which I haven't done yet! But if you lived closer we could attach our truck...
My truck came with a Viper alarm with remote start. Wires are a mess under the dash and have more in line fuses than I can count on both hands heck may need to pull off a shoe to count some toes too. lol mine will flash the parking lights letting you know it got he signal to start. waits...
Wish I was closer I would snag the whole truck for $1300.00 Wish I could find 4x4 idi here that cheap . Man That ATS turbo is a little costly!! But good eye thanks

Help Bump the manuals These are great books to own.. I have 9 diffrent ford factory manual books on my 91. Also wondering about--You mention something about a timing meter possibly for sale? I may be interested in that when your ready to let it go..
Good luck on the sale!
On my motorcycle plastics I always used epoxy putty on the back side of the break. But with the piece missing you'll probably be better off looking in a parts yard for a used one or order a new one from LMC trucks or rockauto.com
This is a beautiful truck! Can't waiting to see interior photo's when it's complete... Keep up the good work. :hail
Oh BTW soon as yours is done I'll be dropping mine off to you. :D

BTW very impressed with you and your friends skills.
Glad you brought this up IDIoit. I was wondering if you could buy a whole built engine. I thought I ran across ( I believe was Mel) that was working on drop in dynoed motors. Wonder if he ever came up with a cost of one yet?
I've also thought of trying to do one myself (kinda scary thought...
I was having the same problem then finally rear brake lights quit all together. So I put in a new switch on the pedal still no luck. I started to look at the wire harness and found one of my wires was starting to break off and the other did break. So I cut off the harness and put on 2 female...

I was talking to my son last week and said to him know what would be cool.. Putting an IDI in a 50's ford truck or taking it's body and putting it on a IDI frame 4x4 of course! I'm not big on smoke stacks But I think on an ol girl like that would look...
Wonder how much different it is from my book which is for a 91? I also have 91 ford factory repair books. I can help as well if needed
( Body,chassis,electrical book 1) (Engines book 2) and the electric/vacum book
I always loved the way a diesel engine sounds. I told the wife the next vehicle I buy will be a crew cab diesel 4x4 SO I bought Big Nasty (what my youngest son calls my truck (lol)

Thanks
Michael
