Would asking for a pump applicable to a year model prior to the advent of the serpentine belt equipped trucks (or a 6.9) ensure that I got one with the proper shaft diameter? Because mine is marginal since it threw a belt on Baby Moose installation weekend and Billy and I had to drive three miles back to the house with no PS. When we got there PS fluid was sprayed all over from steering while no pump was running... Now I have to top it off once every 4 days to avoid...- BioFarmer93

Turbo size question...
I'll share my thinking on this with you guys and use the feed back to see if I'm off my rocker or not... First, heat.. A turbo mounted up in the traditional place puts a lot of heat under the hood, -up pipe, turbo body hot side, down pipe. I would like to move that heat away from the engine...- BioFarmer93

Yeah, it dissipates a tremendous amount of heat considering the fuel coming in to it is in the 30's! I had an argument Sunday with the guy at Advance-Discount about glowplugs... Seemed I remembered them being 6volt and supplied in parallel-series. He swore up and down that they were all 12v.- BioFarmer93

I will admit that ignition was a concern, so it is mounted in a manner that ensures that the glowplug is always submerged in fuel. Where the one from ebay that you showed me has the glow plug, mine has a nipple (ground down a little shorter) with a pipe cap. At full insertion into the pipe cap...- BioFarmer93
