Make sure the pump meets the specs of whatever winch you go with. And I don't mean bare minimum.
Ideally you want to meet the winch specs at or near idle.
Filter needs to be in the return. I would go ahead and run some lines to the rear of the truck. Or even the front of the bed.

This is where the pickle fork attachment for a air hammer comes in handy.
I watched a guy beat on one for a hour before. Wouldn't budge. Then took it to a shop, guy barely even tapped it with the air hammer. Lol

Plenty of people putting CAC's in obs powerstrokes. They 94 still ran the idi style wide radiator. 95 went to a different setup, but identical size radiator.

I had a stp once. It was hard turning all the way on.
Rather one feels tight or not, I try to look at the contact area.

On the LX platforms, they come out the top pretty easy.
You could also drop in out the bottom with the engine cradle.

What you are holding is a nylon/plastic line that goes to a boost gauge. It melted to the relay. Definitely not a wire.
