there are two pins in the cplumn, one on the left and the other right. A pin came loose on the 91 one time and the steering wheel hung on an angle. Pull the wheel off and check the pins. You'll see. You could have cracked to column housing on one side. I think it's pot metal.
Hey I just seen this and I thought I read something a while ago about the trans burning up. Maybe the pcm was upgraded? All I know is I need the turbo, and then I read this. Kind of makes you think
Thank you! But now that I read the final pages, it states that the ATS turbo system is not compatible with the E4OD. Was that fixed in 91? Something ain't right. I'm looking to buy a used setup and I have a E4OD. There has to be guys out there with a turbo'd auto.
I was thinking if I drive up I would do 95 to 64, up to 81 then 78. I think that's it. No Quantico or DC. No Maryland , Delaware. The longest shot will be thru PA. No Jersey tpk
So the wife is telling me to bite the bullet and drive up so I can get everything I need so I won't have to go back. I wonder how many times I'll get pulled over for no plate. My bro in law is a retired NJ state trooper and he told me count on it. And every other state I go thru. Lol
Goat, all I want them to do is keep the truck from sagging and swaying. Just ride better. I'm probably going to do them cuz if I get the machine shipped, I still have to pull it around here.
Well I got a price of 950 to ship it down here. I think I might just do that. Go get my tools another time. I won't need a trailer for them. Just jam them in.
I know the truck would handle the weight ok. The machine would be over the axles. But then I would load the bed up too. I'm more worried about the untagged trailer. The trailer I drove down here with my bike and tools had a tag, but it was about 15 years since I registered it. Once I got out of...
Didn't know where to post this, so I figured I'd start here. So I might have to make a road trip back to that hole NJ, and I'm qualified to speak of it being that I lived there for 60 years. A guy has a skid steer for sale and it's cherry, and I think it's cheaper for me to get it than hiring a...
My truck does the same thing. Always did. And when I read the first post you said something like leaving the glow plugs on for 20 seconds. That's way too long. 8-10 seconds at most.
