SD electric pump outlet fitting threads....
So I got my SD electric pump for
The stroke swap.
Everything I read says the outlet fitting is m10x1
I am going to have #6 hydraulic hose from pump to filter, filter to engine
Ordered my down pipe and a m10x1.0-6an fitting from summit. M10 is...
Worth finding. They make steering a breeze. Even with hydro boost. At an idle I could stand on the brakes and turn the wheel from stop to stop with ease

I got a factory down pipe I can cut the flange off for ya.
Probably be a couple months before I have the Y replaced when I do the intercooler.

Ah I see the picture now. Yes those are worn. Like stated before a v8 diesel only stops in a few places so moving it over will make it better

Your picture didn't come through but if it is the heavy 2 piece cast iron flex plate you could re-clock the starter ring like you would a manual transmission flywheel. Or if your uncomfortable doing that I have a good used one, or two, around.

I had one on mine that was broken off. Manifold didn't leak but the engine was out so it was an easy job. Drilled and tapped it to 3/8

I'd go with a smaller 4 cylinder like a Kubota 2300 or an Volkswagen AHL TDI before I ever thought about an Idi.
If your putting a domestic engine in a 280 then I see no problem putting a foreign engine in a ford.
I simply don't thing it will handle the weight or physically fit. But I like...
I have found the F450's are either dirt cheap or crazy high money. I've bought a few now for parts and have never lost a nickel parting one out.

Sucks to hear ya had a bad run with this one. Keep the parts you know have value and you might be able to find a better condition truck that needs the mechanical parts you already have.
I have ran without before. It does ok until you hit a hill then mine would climb to 220 in a hurry. Kinda sucks when you live on a mountain!
I know I should have a short wide shroud but haven't had a chance to double check. Should be able to get home before dark tonight to look.

Heck if you came to pick it up you could have the engine. It would be a small price to pay just to meet you and pick you Brian's brain on this powerstroke swap.
Too tight of a ring gap will pop the tops off Pistons. Ask me how I found that out.
I file them bigger now. I'd rather lose 1 or 2 horse power or use a little oil over building an engine twice.
