Do the sending units need to be used with a sump, or do they pull from the top side like oem? I'm curious, could you post some pictures of your sending units when you get a chance?

Just curious, do you have any options for guys like me who already have a 38gal tank? I've never truly gotten my fuel sender to work properly so I'd really be interested in that if it was available separately.

It's hard to say on price without knowing if its OD or UD. It should shift if you take a jump pack and power one of the wires while grounding to the case. If it does nothing then move power to the other pin. That will make it shift if it is working properly. Also on a side note that yoke may...
No external markings that I know of. They used the same case with different guts. If it has the 2 motor wires hook fast to the cover plate then it is the older DNE2 electrical setup. If the wires come out of the shift motor then it is the newer US Gear version. Also just fyi, the motor faces to...
That's an odd one with a ujoint yoke on each end. That does make it very universal so you can use it behind any tranny. My first question is, is it a DNE2 for sure or is it the newer US Gear version? Both were similar, but the US Gear version had finer teeth inside and a higher torque rating...
@hesutton I can completely understand that. It's a long haul for you guys for sure. If you had wanted you are always welcome to take a pit stop at my house if it would help. I've got a big plug on the outside of my house you wanted to plug in. It's just a thought if you guys are on the fence...
I agree, I'm good with the later time for 2 reasons. Of course less crowding, and also usually a little cheaper not being holiday rates. I'll double check with the lady, but I think later should work fine for us.

I'm assuming from this that you haven't been able to get the PWM control to work as you wanted for partial locking? Are the Arduinos able to do the PWM for the fan eventually? I'm really liking that you are able to turn the fan on with the AC. Also I like that the fan is able to be controlled...
@ifrythings I was just reading through this some more again. How has it been working for you? Have you done more tuning with the Arduino? Also on another note, I've never done much with the Arduino micro computers or any home built controller for that matter, how hard are they to set up and make...
I'd lean most twords an exhaust leak because it's rpm and throttle based. I would think a valve train issue would only be rpm based. I suppose it's possible it could be an injector too. Did you look around each of the exhaust ports? Maybe check the manifold bolts and see if any are loose.

I am pretty sure the 1356 is very similar to the older 1345 I have in my truck. I busted the 1345 at the drag strip at the Virginia rally. After tearing it apart I'm not too surprised. In high range the gears aren't engaged very deep and it ended up stripping the teeth off. In low range the...
Are they stopping in the middle of the windshield or is it that the intermittent wipers work sometimes and not others?

I'm venturing to say it's most likely in the motor. I don't remember 100% though. Its been a while, but I think the wiper motors are pretty easy to change. Just unplug it, unbolt the motor and pull it out enough to unclip the linkage arm and it's free. I dont remember ever pulling the cowl panel...
I'm kinda curious what your back pressure is with pushing that much boost and having the stock turbo wastegate deleted. Might be time for an external wastegate between the turbos. That's what I've seen done on many Cummins or PSD compound setups anyways.

@chillman88 ahhh, so I guess I have to log in via a computer to vote. I wonder it that is why there have been a bunch of views, but only a couple votes this is all I see with Tapatalk....

So maybe I'm stupid, but I really haven't been finding the "vote" part of this thread. I have been looking for it, but all I see are all the posts and no buttons to click to vote. I'm using Tapatalk btw.

Yeah, a good bypass regulator would work great for keeping pressures in check.
@79jasper do you happen to know the micron rating on the 6.0 HFCM filter off the top of your head? I know the 6.0s used a secondary filter as well but was just curious if the primary filter would be sufficient...
I've used them before on other psd trucks. They are very high quality and last a long time. To use it on an idi you would need a bypass style regulator to cut the pressure down though. On a psd they run 65psi which is way too high for an idi.

Not gonna lie the campground looks awesome! I just don't know quite yet if I could get away in the spring. I'm going to have to play it by ear.

No problems at all, lol! The owner of s machine shop I used to work at built it for himself. He didn't need it anymore so we traded some labor for it.
