Seein as we have no specs on head thickness or how deep valves are recessed its quite hard to say.
But if too deep it affects the valve train geometry so rockers dont contact correctly and u may be facing too much tollerance stacking and thus jacking the valve open.
Its all in the details.
I...
One thing i forgot to memtion
The old lift pump had an unusual legth say 3 or 4 feet of rubber line to it....thought it was peculiar.
However quite ingenious..i removed vacuum pump lifted lift pump up to rad tank level...swapped fuel line to new pump and dropped down to hole.....spilled narry...
250 amp powermaster for my truck..ran 200 amp fuse...save alt before cokk it....never blew a fuse.
Gotta add that beast but being a pivot mount too lazy to swap it as need figure out belt length.
Hope fuses solve yer issue
You cannot pull a load just light foot on skinny pedal or it bogs down...
I was on a pretty low slope area w a 7 min drive to work...
My white rhino had a mr gasket elec fuel pump but it wasnt all that good of a lift pump.
This truck is do for makeover or replacement...
May have to get a mc from your era...up to 86 as iirc they changed mounting hole options.
Also look into the firewall fix plate for solvimg issues before they happen @freebird01 pm him its worth the investmemt and time to install

Working 6 n 7 days a week meams no time to fiddle and when u do not know wher TF everything is its a PITA to start chasing crap.

K one of sub contractors Keegan says buddy has dead 6.9 may have one
100 bucks...
Measure before u buy....d44hd has different balljoint spacing for larger knuckle...on ttb....
Older D44 solid axles have same bj spacing be it a half ton coil spring or 3/4 ton either swaps to either.....
I could be wrong on ttb but IIRC as I was investigating this swap but 5 to 8...it WOULD...
8 lug to 5 lug is NOT an easy swap.
The TTB of the F250 has a different ball joint spacing that the F150 TTB thus a conversion is not all that simple of a knuckle out conversion.
U may consider an older 78/9 F150 D44 solid axle amd swap to coil front end...
It seems u are jammimg up on a few...
Too much advance cam eat glow plugs as well ...best chek timin registry see if any members close by and if not remt timing meter from gary...aka Icanfixall
JM7.3CW Eh!
I highly doubt D60..well maintained D50 looks like that.
If yer other truck was that gawdaweful 2wd w lift and no shocks...ya this is no brainer in comparison....
Go look tale pics report back..we are here to help...btw...if other truck is that pos 2wd w lift n no shocks...good choice passing...
I have an 88 and 91 F250....88 is my BLUE OX which as my swapped inZF and D60......but waek oil burning and leaking engine. 91 has solid engin...unkown E4OD but was working now limp mode.
Honeatly though I like rowing my desire for shifting in stop n go city traffic is weak...auto looks...

Somethings not jiving here....drivetrain shop is nfg imho...

Seeing as got called back to work...bought this 28 foot trailer....
Other than being a bit low on power truck pulled it great inclusing some good hils etc.
So the head gasket at coolant passages...oil cooler gaskets lower rad hose adapter and thermostat and thermostat gasket and water pump gaskets and seals do not count as havi g edges exposed to this acide...what about oil cooler O rings....there is an O ring on the blocl heater too....
Think I...
