    You may have a leak that is small enough that it evaporates before it can drip. Is your radiator cap in good shape (rubber gasket that seals) Do you see signs of condensation in oil?

    These are the clips you need to remove the fitting is similar to this once the clips are out it slides off. I normally remove the clips, spray the connector with wd40 and push the fitting towards the valve and then pull away from valve to remove.

    The relay is always grounded. There is 12 volts on large input connection. 12 volts is applied (small wire terminal) and relay closes giving 12 volt to large output connector connected to glow plugs. Very similar to the way starter relay works.

    Sorry didn’t see response. The neutral safety switch is under the truck on the driver side of the transmission where the selector lever is.

    Unplug the harness at the shift lever switch on the transmission. Put a jumper wire in the connector you unplugged.

    Most likely it is good. Jumper your neutral safety switch and try cranking.
