If they are in series the heat will go through to #2 but you will see some drop from 1 to 2. But my setup with and inline heater was still able to warm the tote after going through two fuges.
Pass 5. 3.49oz
This stuff is thinned and been settled for a while. Suck off the top and then combine the bottoms of several and dispose of has been my method. Yes heat always helps. Trying to not do heat at the moment. Looks like I am flowing 5oz per min~2.3gph 8oz per min ~3.75gph(I read...
Here is the results of the 4th pass.
Sludge is consistent with the other passes, in consistency, maybe slightly stiffer(holds form better). Each pass seems to have less water. 4th pass was 5.86oz. So still less then pass 3, but not by much. Entering the realm of diminishing returns. Setting...
3rd pass done.
Well took 54hr to pass 300g through the fuges. So about 5.5gph.
Numbers are in. I zeroed the scale for each container type. Left to right pass 1, 2 ,3.
Weights 52.83oz, 13.20oz, 7.48oz.
So it is interesting that it is now halving the sludge amount. Would be an interesting...
Thought experiment. If I decrease the flow rate even more. Would it be better then currently doing at least two runs.
Example. It takes 48 hours to run 300g through one pass. Two passes would be 8day three would 12day. But would see if there was anything getting through.
Slow it down (to half...
Been running green fuge (absolute centrifuge) then wvo designs fuge in series for a while now. Got my new pabiodiesel ultimate force centrifuge(UFC)and running it solo. Works great and easy to clean. Finally got around to building a new rack to put all three in series. Pabiodiesel UFC then...
Yah another friend suggested a propane tank. Which I like both his and yours. Right now I think I want to keep it intact. Good idea about a tire balancer.
Let's hear some bowl ideas!
So I picked up this chip spinning centrifuge for cheap. It is designed to wring machining chips.
I don't think modify the existing bowl would be as good as build a new oil bowl. Also allow me to resell if not adequate for oil cleaning. It has got a decent diameter...
What kind of trouble? Binds up and can't get it to rotate? Mine got hard to rotate with some clay like sludge it got out of one batch.
I accidentally left the bowl lid screws loose, didn't double check, and the the gasket squeezed itself out. Needless to say I didn't need to clean the bowl and...
C-shape is like WVO designs and absolute centrifuge (no longer around). Not sure what they are officially called. The cross section looks like a "c" in shape. Simple to build and strong. Pretty easy to clean too.
Has anyone added Biobor JF to their wmo blends to kill microbes for storage? Results?
Technically support said it can be used with any hydrocarbons. Gave some other interesting information. Should blend fine and be just as effective, but viscosity might make not mix as quickly so agitation is...
I just got my new fuge, pabiodiesel ultimate force centrifuge up and running. Man I thought removing the bowl lid screws to clean the bowl would be a hassle, but I am a convert. So easy to clean when it's filled up with sludge. Even it's hard like clay or sloppy soft stuff. So much easier then...
It will attack brass and causes black pipe to rust. Great for wmo furnace. Got a buddy that uses it exclusively. Low ash and very clean usually. It can absorb and hold water. I got some yearsss ago. Didn't know what to do with it and after research seemed like it should work and fuges it and put...
Around 1996 international used the p7100 ppump injection pump in the dt466 before going to dt466e. So it would be very close to a ppump 12 valve. Several friends think that it would be an oil eater.
I heard from one guy running it in c12. His experience was diesel and light wmo concentration. He said didn't notice till about 50 percent wmo. Then it cranked a long time to start and smoked. He used it to dispose of wmo and experiment more than savings. Not sure of how long/far he did it or...
Did some talking and I just picked up some aircraft piston oil. Looked up the ads and it has a higher autoignition temp then 15w40 oil. In the past I blended it with gas and had decent results. Smoky mainly. This batch I might try it with just diesel blending an see if it's better. A buddy had...
I run the stock mechanical lift pump on my dodge 12v's but not the same. I have been running hep-02a on my centrifuge. Running constantly for a few months now. Seems to pump wmo blends okay. Not sure about 100 percent yet.
