It's well worth getting a fuel pressure gauge plumbed in (electric would be nice to see on dash), vs. spending $1000 on a IP to find out it's a clogged line. Worse case you have fuel pressure, now you have a new IP and a useful gauge:D

I use the two tank method. Our trucks have both so might as well put it to good use. I start stop on diesel and put it on WMO once engine is warmed up and before shut down. Keeps it clean.

I've heard by some folks that the gas has additives bad for a diesel. Causes ash build up? Whatever, can't be that bad me thinks.
Some people get it to a science and run it like regular diesel. Others use the two tank method, and start on diesel and switch to WMO then go back to diesel on shut...
I got mine for $172. Pretty sweet. I too am curious as to where he is sourci them from, to be accepting offers $60 under asking price his profit margin must be crazy high.

I like the idea of storing it, but we all know what happens when we pull something apart to put back together later. Parts and bolts go missing, or we forget how to put it back together right. IMHO, leave the engine together and figure out how to store it whole.
This seems like the best idea...
I overpaid on my truck. $4250 with a rusted out bed and no brakes. St. Cab 4x4 manual. It's been a can of worms I regret lol. I'm in deep now though and there's no backing out.:Thumbs Up
Oops, so it's too advanced is what your saying? Definitely pretty off that's for sure and needs adjustment. So if it was 7* or 6* that would be too retarded then right?
Never-Have-I-Ether
Got some test results, and just as I suspected the engine is too retarded. My timing currently is 12.5ish* Engine never smokes except at start up and can be a pain starting in cold weather despite new glow plugs. This is the reason I believe. Now I need to find time to adjust the IP...
It's a Holley Black, and it sure will pump wmo. My friend has a blue with no issues, I decided I wanted the Black because it's slightly better and more powerful. It's placed really close to the wmo tank which is an aux tank on the bed so it's easy to pull from. I make my wmo slightly thicker...
I moved my selector behind the shock. Then it goes 10 micron-pump-2 micron- dual 15 micron w/s. It's an experiment to see if it's too many filters.l and if I can filter on the go, I rather the centrifuge though and looking at how to plumb that in. It works for now.

Read that already, again no specification on what this damper is. That's what I would like to know, pictures would be great I'm pretty visual.

I wish I could do a manual valve on mine. Only problem is that I have the e-fuel pump on the frame and I don't think it would be able to pull fuel up to the cab then back to the pump. Like 12' of hose from tank to pump if I did that.

Got my DTI today as well. Will have to get the light later. For the time being, how do I use the probe? Where is this probe supposed to be placed? I hear a damper hole but have no idea what or where that is
