I pay about $100 a month for my two OBS Fords. That with pretty decent coverage. Not bad for a young guy. I'm with Geico on my own plan. All my friend pay close to $175-$200, they also drive IDI's or other old stuff. Not sure why I got lucky with my cheap insurance.

We do have to be careful though. I had quite a hard time getting oil without an EPA license. I may look at getting certified if it gives me a pretty good upper hand in collecting oil. Especially is regulations become tighter.
I'm always super careful when transporting oil from a shop to home...
Haha, I ain't got a/c either, and I'm in Texas! I got a sliding window I open behind me and use the corner windows! It's great if your moving, just don't stop ahaha.

I love my strongarm windows haha.
My left window though keeps getting stuck when rolling down, so I have to pull it down with one hand while rolling with the other. I think it's bad rubber for myself. I like simplicity though.

Brake fluid isn't necessarily bad in small quantities. The issue is the water which it absorbs. The oil I get from the local shops is clean and just plain ol' oil.
I wouldn't stress about it. Just settle your oil and drain the water off the oil. Centrifuge it, and burn it.

Instead of an electric ore heater which is expensive, troublesome, and inefficient, just run your fuel lines through the coolant line like veggie folks do.

What? So if I bought a IDI tow truck I would need commercial insurance to drive it? Dang.
Understandable I guess from insurance perspective, as they think you'll be towing other people and making money off if it.

A qt to the amount of gallons in that tank isn't enough on my opinion.
When I had issues, I cut the fuel line and ran the truck off a gallon of ATF. It saved my ass and I was able to drive my truck to work the following day after sitting over night. I was a skeptic I admit, but now I'm a huge...
I did the math and to completely rebuild a f250, engine, transmission, every single darn bushing and bearing, your looking at no more than 10-15k. That includes paint and a turbo kit. I'm still saving up for that. I got $150 towards it so far:Thumbs Up

I've been so busy doing 50 hour weeks I've neglected my truck....
I did u joints last weekend, but only because I absolutely had to for work.
Today my front left caliper started knocking, its super loose and the guide pins had fallen out.
Looks like I'll be doing my brakes this coming...
I believe your right. This is 1.188 x 1.188 u joints. They were only loose in that transfer case shaft. I'll probably order another one to keep on hand.

Haha, the closest thing to a diesel in the Ford Gasser world;)
Like I said, the f150 group wasn't helpful lol unlike this group.
I want to place my order, but shipping cost a bunch. Want to make sure I got everything I need.:Thumbs Up

The F-150 forum wasn't any help....

I'm rebuilding my clutch and doing all that jazz for the first time, swapping in a used transmission. Pretty much new everything.
Problem is, I don't know what everything I need to replace is. I got a...
Ok ok, so if understand to install a new tachometer, I just screw the new one in right?
I've been searching and couldn't find instructions:cry:
I thought I had read something ages ago about tightening it to X then loosening it back X amount.
Thanks,
