    I passed on it. If the axles really are forward that far it would not work for what I plan on hauling. I don't really have the desire to move the axles back right now. So guess I'll keep looking. Thanks guys.

    It isn't a critical part so I am sure any brand would be fine. Of course Motorcraft/International is always best. You could also run it to a toggle instead so you would have manual control of it, which is what I'm about to do.

    The sensor that controls it is directly behind the thermostat housing . Stubby little 2 prong sensor. It also controls the cold advance..

    I have a 3/4 ton 4x4 burban ( Last year with the solid axle) I was thinking about swapping in 1/2 ton springs for a better ride. Does anyone know if they are a direct swap? Been awhile since I worked on a Chevy. But I think I remember them being practically the same.. @towcat ?

    As mentioned , personal respirator. You can get a good one for like $30. I use them to mow and weed eat because I have bad allergies. They work really well.

    I see what you're saying. A new set will definitely last longer. Cleaning doesn't change nozzle wear. But that doesn't mean a used set can't work correctly. They just won't last as long as a new set.

    I don't understand why he's getting hounded over the injectors.. If he pop tested them and they have equal pop pressure, no dribbling and a good spray pattern, which he says they do, I don't see the problem...
