    I picked up some bolts yesterday. Started to drop the headliner and realized my truck has the double layer roof.... So I guess it's nutserts for me. It's a 1988 F350 CC 4x4 lariat Centurion.

    Hey guys. I'm in the process of pulling a 6.9 to replace head gaskets. It has an ats 085 kit. I can't get the engine out with the turbo kit installed, and I cannot remove the turbo. I've tried penetrating oil, heat, breaker bar.. The down pipe and flange bolts won't budge. Any ideas?

    Good point. However mine didn't come with a shower head pick up. I always just do the v notched hose mod. So you would just have to make the hose a little longer. Easy to figure out with the tank removed.

    The sending unit was a direct replacement. The larger tank mounts in the back. It basically replaces the rear spare tire with extra fuel capacity.

    Perfect time to swap in a 38 gallon rear tank. Someone will post with more specifics , I haven't done the swap. For sending units , my unit from eBay seller trexauto works perfectly.

    Also I turned it over by hand to make sure it wasn't seized, and to try the starter on a different part of the ring gear. Not seized, but same problem.
