Senor! I've mentioned before that I get good deals at the junkyard on tires and batteries.......but there's quality stereo equipment there too.
I'm of the "cut wires and make it work" camp, there are others that start twitching when you mention cutting stock wires and modifying the dash. I got...
These engines are crazy heavy, take your time..... helmets, elbow pads, safety cones, orange vests.... emergency flares...... caution, ya know...
We're you contemplating breaking into O'Reilly's to get a new belt before you realized you had your old belt? Or did it just happen to be the first place on the right side of the road after the belt came apart?
Get some sleep before responding, 12hrs and a serpentine belt on a truck that high...
This is yet another indicator to me of the correctness of my plan that one day, when I really decide to go the distance with an engine, I'm going to buy my own boring bar and figure it out myself.......then I can only be mad at one guy.... that's crazy.
You'll only be able to drink "frappechino" from Starbucks with double shots of whatever they do if you have such a cupholder! A cupholder that marvelous will eject convenience store coffee and get your instrument cluster sticky!
That's good news and good information....... let's just hope @Cant Write hired a midget to hold his brake pedal while he's away from Wally...... that's the other thread that's hangin' right now!

15 pictures and not one of the engine! What in the world!?!? 3 miles to the gallon going down hill with a stiff tail wind and the engine off...... definitely my style of write up though!
I have a 3 way valve and my returns going the rear tank. My thought was that most folks ain't trying to get into it like that, but I did almost mention it.
SENOR!!! The OEM fuel selector sucks.......air that is!!! Good luck on your endeavor! But yeah, really sounds like a stuck fuel selector. You might consider doing the single bronco tank or even look for @IDIBRONCO s, thread about how he uses a bronco tank as a transfer tank.
And I'm totally...
My truck had a GV on a C6 when I got it and you're right, not happy in OD when pulling. The only benefit I had with the C6 was that my wife could drive it.
I dont drive fast, but I do like keeping the rpms down with the ZF-5 while maintaining 410 pulling gears.
They'll probably stop making the high pressure oil pumps that those engines need about the same time as we run out of rebuildable pumps and people to rebuild them!
