I've had both shoulders done, wasn't too bad. Don't be too scared.. it'll take awhile to regain strength but no big deal. I didn't even need the narcotics
I removed my rear tank to clean it and install new sending unit... everything is orange and rusty... should I use muriatic acid then baking soda for the rust?
New vacuum gauge.. ran 1/4in vacuum hose to the fitting on the manifold.
Question: what is it supposed to read in different situations (like while braking?)? Idling/driving it reads around 25in. After shutting engine off, is it normal to lose pressure back to zero?
Thanks! Have our trucks ever even heard of Nascar or Indy? I've raced fully loaded dump trucks and school busses and they never even know it as they pull away..
Random.. but wondering how much weight you guys would comfortably put in the bed for a couple hour trip? Looking at 1500-2000lb (45lb weight plates) and wondering how it'd handle that for a 3hr move.
Dumb thoughts from a dumb guy:
Maybe you forgot to wet the rubber gasket on the filter with oil? Worst case, what about using a thin layer of rtv on the mating surface of the block before installing filter? Check the surface with a flat edge?
I bought a refurbished hub for the rear on ebay, not that hard to replace if you can't work an easier fix:

Bought 2 new Duracell batteries from Sam's Club. Isn't it strange they were made in March '24 and have been draining on the shelf for 5 months? Anyways, have them on the trickle charger now.
This one has been flawless for me the 3yrs since I installed it:

I played it maybe 30min until they left the attic, then closed up their entrances with aluminum flashing.. I then tossed out some rat candy (poison) as a reward if they ever made it back inside. They haven't in about 3yrs.
Squirrels got into my attic at home.. chewing up wires..could hear them scurrying around all the time from inside. This sounds nuts, but the only thing that got them out (within 5min) was bringing a speaker into the attic and loudly playing this:
Maybe this plug is the ticket? Your valve sure looks different than my oem one though

Well guys. Here's what I did today (after church). Dug out this soil and replanted my nice zoysia grass.. I may have spilled a little diesel when I was cleaning my tank out.. not a great lawn care move apparently (unless you like really tan grass?)
So much work and ingenuity. It looks great. Wish we were closer and I'd paint it for you. And I noticed an old Troy Bilt Horse tiller in one of the pics.. got one too!
