So i installed a cooler and no change, it still shutters while accelerating. Im gonna go after the torque converter next, if that doesnt do it then a rebuild it is haha. Do you know if its a 31 or 35 spline?- USNENFTS

So you would replace it? Cause I just straight up removed it about a year ago. Now my tranny is acting up, not sure if its a seperate issue or related to me removing that second cooler. My transmission was set up with 2 coolers, one in the radiator for the engine and the other was infront of the radiator. The one infront of the radiator was rusted out completely and had to be removed. The auto parts stores dont have anything for a replacement. My question to you all is do I...- USNENFTS

Those of you with the Hypermax Turbo Setup
Well, the last time I used a meter it was at around 8.... Either the meter was screwed up or I didn't use it right even though I followed the instructions to the T.... The problem is gone now though so it really doesn't matter, it has to do with this turbo set-up, being just under the stock...- USNENFTS

Oil pan plug leaking
Mine used to leak cause there was a plastic ring, almost like a washer, that was cracked... My local autoparts store had something similar and now it stays 100% dry, I would just watch it till your next oil change and when you take it out next inspect the threads on the plug and the pan. Those of you with the Hypermax Turbo Setup
So, about a year ago I installed my hypermax turbo kit and was rather upset with the performance.... I had my fuel pump up 2 and 1/2 flats and had the timing advanced.... I felt like it took FOREVER to build up boost and get it goin.... I knew this couldn't be right.... So I back down the pump...- USNENFTS

Fuel System, Return Side
Alright, quick question.... Does the fuel system require a fuel return? I don't see why one is required.... I am planning on ridding of the stock mechanical lift pump and filter head. Going with 2 filters and an electric pump. Just curious about the return side of the house.- USNENFTS

Detroit or Cummins?
That's my reasoning behind a cummins. I can find a detroit with parts, just not performance stuff, which is kind of a bummer. I'm thinking the cummins in the donor truck build and I'll find something else to drop the detroit in to have fun with haha. Ohhhhhhh say a 1960 Peterbilt?- USNENFTS

This is true.... EVERYONE and their brother has a cummins..... Cummins this and cummins that.... I am thinkin parts wise.... Detroit parts are getting hard to find. Kinda like our IDI's- USNENFTS

I'm pretty set on a detroit or cummins. They are just simply badass, and have an extreme amount of HP/torqe when built right. The cummins has A LOT of performance parts available. Not sure about detroit.- USNENFTS

It's going to be a while haha! Once I buy a house, and get the truck here, the gut will begin. I am going to acquire everything first, then build it. As I have learned with custom builds, need all the **** first otherwise it just don't out as planned.- USNENFTS
