Is my trailer hitch strong enough?
Awesome deal!!! I think that the way I had it to start with would have been fine but I just feel better having the second square tube. It just seemed like alot of weight causing the twist effect when I use the WD hitch. I lucked out since I built it to fit my 95 2wd with a standard bumper...- tom37

Here is a couple shots of mine. I just didn't like the looks of what I could find available for my truck. The sides are 3/8th bent plate, the cross members are 3" square, and the plates around the tube in the chain area are 1/4". I ask around on several welding forums and received many...- tom37

I got my pryo last thur, so today when the rain just wouldn't quit, I tackled the installation. Not to bad, drilled and cut threads just ahead of 8. Break issues (rear)
I can't imagine it being any worse then any other brake job on a 3/4 or 1 ton. I did have to pull the axle on my gasser so that I could get the drum and hub into the press to separate them.Suckers were stuck good. Mine has 3 inch, and was a breeze. New to me IP that I need to time.
I have power now but I have smoke too. OK....I got all the leaking lines taken care of. It starts easy, and idles nice, maybe a tad fast. Its incredible how much more power it has now, but after half throttle it gets pretty smokey, bad enough the cars behind me back off. I didn't want to...- tom37

Finishing touch on ZF-5 swap!!
I like the 8 ball. Hey if it does by chance pop off, I have some A7 epoxy. They tell me it has a 4000 lb pull out, with a safety factor of 4 to 1. I will be watching on the gauges, mine are temporary right now in a 3 pack in front of the ashtray.- tom37

How big of a tire are you looking for? There is a couple places out here by me that are open on sunday I believe. One is right next to I 70 but I am not sure how big of tires they keep in stock.- tom37

New to me IP that I need to time.
Cool deal walker, I have to work again to get this project finished by Monday. :mad: I will do my best to catch the phone tho. Tonight I adjusted the plunger on the fast idle to the point where it almost touched the linkage. This fixed the problem of it wanting to die on return to idle...- tom37
