    1000 Miles on WMO 50/50 7.3L PWRSTROKE

Oil weight? Why would you run new oil? (expensive). Get a water bottle (small) fill it with half "new oil" and half diesel. Swirl it around and take a look. Somethings not right. Good Idea JRP but fine metallics wont cause smoke... and haven't caused any known adverse effects in my truck...

Well I know those who burn ATF quite well also...without the smoke. We are missing something....Im hesitant to guess and steer you down the wrong path. There are tons of 7.3L turbo and nonturbo running 50/50 for years...Do you have muffler? More will chime in soon...

    1000 Miles on WMO 50/50 7.3L PWRSTROKE

I would question the quality of your WMO. I dont filter to 1/1000000000 of a micron like some do, but I know my supplier well and avoid water, antifreeze, etc like the plague. If you dont know the guy thats contributing to your fuel supply...forget it. Dont even consider a public dump style...

10K on WMO/#2 50/50 Mix Yep. Still here. My 2003 7.3L has not even burped. Changed fuel filter finally. A little bit of black at the bottom of the fuel filter can but it dissolved in my fingers. Ran two tanks of #2 straight, pulled the filter and guess what....spiffy clean. Back to the...

    1000 Miles on WMO 50/50 7.3L PWRSTROKE

I have been starting and shutting down without so much as a hiccup. I put the WMO in a transfer tank straight from the shop, mix #2 in it (5%), then it filters through a 10m before it gets to the meter and gun. The shop I get it from also has a commerical fuel station (not national) and only...

    1000 Miles on WMO 50/50 7.3L PWRSTROKE

Raising the dead with this post but no aliens have abducted me or took my WMO 50/50 mix. Still runs fine....still havent changed the f filter on the engine...will get to it soon. I have to have at least 5k on this stuff by now....probably closer to 8k. Paying about $1.20 a gallon I figure...

    electrical truck wont start

Blew up a relay off a peterbuilt...lol so I put a 50 amp switch under the hood. It powers my 105 gallon transfer tank for burning (alternate fuels)...hee hee That short scared the crap out of me...figured I fried the main or something. That extra tap is now history...lol

    electrical truck wont start

2003 7.3l Had a connection tied to the accessory wire before fuse panel. It shorted. No odometer...truck cranks but no start. Radio only works in ignition forward. Windows and everything else work fine

    Transfer Tank Cleaning

Hmmm. Good Point. I plan on putting waste oil in there anyway.... I am about ready to simply dump the old fuel and add 80% WMO 20 % #2 and be done with it.

    factory ford fuel filters

Wix 33818 (5 Micron) Absolute. Stock is 10m. To get the top off, use one of those band wrenches. Screwdrivers can tear up the tops. Just my 2 cents.

    Transfer Tank Cleaning

I have just bought a 105 gallon transfer tank that has about 1g of #2 in it. The outside has some surface rust. It comes with a metered electric fill-rite pump. This unit hasn't been used in 3 years, but the pump does work. Before I put #2 in it, the topic of rust/sediment/old fuel came...

    1000 Miles on WMO 50/50 7.3L PWRSTROKE

01 Cummins.....hold on to that one. These non-cat/egr run on anything diesels are a dieing breed indeed. I love my PWRSTRK but really love that ol cat sound....specially with an aftermarket turbo.

    1000 Miles on WMO 50/50 7.3L PWRSTROKE

That does make it a tad easier then..lol. Well its one of those taboo subjects (WMO). I thought of filtering beyond 5m, but heck even the pumps at a commercial station are at 30. I understand there are metallics in the oil but #$%** do you know how much crap is in a commercial tank? I...
