I don't see the grinder marks. I do see horizontal scratches across the upper numbers. Could have been made by someone rubbing with their fingers. But they also look like file marks. The problem with new brake shoes and the parking brake.
The extra information about the actuators is gold! I hadn't thought of that, for some reason. But yeah, if one side of that is wearing, then so is the other. I haven't done anything special to my truck. But I can tell you that if you put the factory size tires on, the truck looks like it's on roller skates. Best way I can describe the look.
