The tach in my '94 F-350 won't go over 1k rpm. I have cleaned the pick up and when that didn't work I got a new one. That still didn't work.
Is the only other option to change the cluster? Does that change the odometer as well? Is there a way to repair the tach in my current housing?
Is it just a wire or does it have a connector on it? Also by left do you mean drivers side? (In the US anyway)

Ok, I found the plug and my harness will work with it. How lucky is that?
Now the question is with the factory harness where does the blue wire for the trailer brake come out on the back of the truck? It has an aftermarket bumper on it with a 7 pin plug but the trailer brake part is not...
