Different pitches. From everything I have read the underdrive and overdrive have the same tooth counts but the input and output are swapped and the jack shafts are flipped. So only sort of related to this thread. I have a US Gear box in my truck. I do not believe that my shift motor grounds thru the case. I think it is a normal, 2 wire DC motor. I am not sure though. I need a case for a US gear overdrive. Mine got case got wrecked but my gearset is good so I don't care if it is an underdrive or overdrive.
