New to me - 1987 F250 XLT 6.9 IDI / No Turbo, Auto (C6?) original interior, cold A/C (Arizona) and manual windows! 94K original miles when I bought it. Now 96K miles. Runs great, starts immediately every time, no smoke, no blow-by, no rust, runs strong (but exhaust ticks?) Love this truck...- KingSparta

New Owner - 87 F250 6.9 with ticking sound
Will get a video to try to catch the ticking sound and post here / Youtube so you guys can hear. Sounds like it's coming from under the hood but who knows... Back this evening. I'm considering using the truck to tow a trailer half-way across the U.S., but prefer no surprises. Thanks.- KingSparta
