Vibration in the rear
Mine was doing the same thing. Pulled the drivelines out all the u joints were dry,brubber on carrier brg was loose. Bought a new carrier brg just took rubber off new one and put on my old brg.(it was good) replaced all u joints. Fixed the vibes! Sent from my XT1710-02 using Tapatalk- kent01

I bought an Edelbrock universal electric pump from O'Riley's. It's diesel specific. (Green) Mounted it on a home made bracket Inside the frame near the stock lift pump. Works great. EZ to prime after filter changes. Sent from my XT1710-02 using Tapatalk- kent01

Wow, never seen that one before... One other variable is the early small block Ford's, the 229/260 and first 289 engines through 64 had a 5 bolt bell housing vs 65 and later Windsor engines had a 6 bolt pattern. Fe engines are a bell housing pattern all their own. The 429/460 shares the same pattern as the 351/400 m. The 289/302/351 /351c. Have a different pattern among the small block group. Sent from my XT1710-02 using Tapatalk- kent01

My 88 IDI, I bought for $2250, supposed to be 97K on the odometer. Changed all fluids, it had a new radiator,fan clutch. Had to replace all the U joints and carrier bearing. All were dry and shot. Then water pump went south. 97K??? Maybe rolled over 2/3 times. It runs good, gets 18 mpg@75/80 in...- kent01
