Air Leak but where to look?
Same problem as original poster here. Replaced all return lines/caps, IP, lift pump, injectors, and glow plugs. Bled system and got it running eventually. IP needs timed of course, but was close. Shut truck off and would not restart. Had to bleed injectors all over again to get started. If shut...- EB1156

'86 F-250 Electrical Trouble
Check for any fusible links at the battery connections, starter, or starter relay. They may not look bad visually, but may be burned up inside the insulation preventing electricity flow.- EB1156

PLASTIC FUEL TUBING QUESTION ??
Fuel fittings Talk to your local auto parts store and ask to see their Dorman book. Dorman makes all kinds of replacement parts including the fuel fittings you speak of. I just used some on an engine swap I did including using the plastic fuel line. I don't have the numbers here but the book...- EB1156
