1994 CC 7.3 IDI truck
Well we decided to sell the 94 IDI CC dually since I have bought the 02 CC 4x4 dually. The truck runs great and has a good 5 speed tranny. the motor is a IDI turbo. I replaced the injection pump and injectors at 185,000 . I had to replace the turbo at 200,000 it was just tired. I put new tires...- dslmechanic

Parting out 98 Dodge dually 2 wheel drive
Well we put a complete new fuel system on the truck had it running for about a month and the turbo went south and got the turbo rebuilt and had the truck running again and lost compression on 2 cylinders. Got this old ride just yesterday it had a 6.9 in it and is a 4 speed standard. starting problem
Did jaspers give you a 2 year unlimited mileage warranty .. I did not know this was a fairly new engine but if you are hearing a squeak of air than you may want to look at the filter head and that pesky little fuel heater .. Hope you get it all straightened out.. Kevin- dslmechanic

starting problem
Are you running original stock injectors and have they been in the truck since it was new??? If so you may have a few injectors going down and allowing the fuel to bleed back to tank and also gives it a flooded affect.. You can get the truck running and allow it to idle while it's idling crack...- dslmechanic

Trouble code P0628
How many miles on the truck?? And have you ever put a lift pump on it ???? If you are getting this code it usually is letting you know that it is starting to getr weak or atleast that has been the experience I have been having with them lately .. Mack You may want to look at the International Truck as well they seem to be holding up very well .. Some thing you can also look at doing with the super ten tranny is have Mack shut the shift signal off to the super ten and that will make him manually shift up and down..
