Yes if it is a DRW truck and has the DRW extended filler necks then it will go together no problem like it was from the factory- DieselRon1996

If your wanting to remove it permanently..just unhook the cable off the throttle cable..then simply remove the vacuum hose at the vacuum manifold 92-96 is on the driver inner fender I believe and 87-91 is up on the passenger side fire wall then just use a vacuum plug on it...then There should...- DieselRon1996

But i am also tempted to pull the motor and rebuild it because I can go under under the truck and spin the motor over by grabbing the flywheel/clutch by hand...and I can spin it over for awhile too like that but I think it’s time for a clutch anyway but I don’t ever remember a IDI being that...- DieselRon1996

Yes if I’m not mistaking the fenders will and should cover them but you will have too extend the filler necks like Thewespaul said but simple measurements should be able to tell you if it will work but I don’t see why it won’t work- DieselRon1996

Yep it sure dose look like the cruise control...mounts over on the driver fender mounts under the two fender bolts or next two them I’m not a big fan of them so I kinda forget how it mounts...but you’ll run into it being unbolted on my trucks and just laying their because I’m to lazy to remount...- DieselRon1996

Yes I did try putting my radiator cap off my 94 f450 7.3 IDIT today temporarily to see if it fixed the radiator hose from collapsing... and it looked like it did fix it...so I’ll get some of them fancy GATES ones with the pressure relief valves on them and I do remember like 2-3 weeks ago it...- DieselRon1996

I’ll give it a try I just pulled it in my shop and that’s what I was thinking..air in the system I just draind the antifreeze out should I leave the thermostat out and put it back together to see if that was it or just replace the thermostat and then try it?- DieselRon1996

:confused:I got a 94 f350 ECLB 4x4 7.3 IDI zf5..with a (88 f250 7.3 idi in it) seems to run a lot hotter then normal my aftermarket temp gauge is reading 190-210 but the motor is obviously way hotter because I can barely touch the rad or the motor the IP also gets hot which isn’t a good thing...- DieselRon1996

New member names Chris I’m from New Jersey and live their temporary but live in VA also but I have bought a 1988 f250 XLT ECLB 7.3 IDI 4x4 5 speed in October 2018 for $800 from VA was a bone stock farm truck..but since then I have done a lot of work including buying a parts truck...94 f350 XL...- DieselRon1996

6.9 idi randomly dies when given throttle
Almost having the same problem with my 93 f350 7.3 idi...it will start up with no problems and idle all day..well sometimes:backoff...but it will shut down like it ran out of fuel ether driving down the road or just at idle..but if it’s up to temperature and it dose it and shuts down... it will...- DieselRon1996
