Brake lights getting cross fed power?
I ran into the same issue when I put LEDs on the back of my box van. Only happened if the engine was running. My mechanic said it was from stray voltage in the system. I just figured it was poor mans day time running lights:sly I never did have any issues and was happy as heck with my new lights...- C.J.

I just sold my box van with a 7.3 NA. Exhaust?

Trade my 1995 F250 7.3 psd 5 speed 4x4 for IDI
I'd love to trade you but my truck ain't worth that. :sly It's not nearly as nice as that either but that's what I love about it. I can actually use it like a truck and not be afraid to haul stuff or go into the woods. Heck, I think that's why we all love our IDIs. They don't cost as much up...- C.J.

just wondering
We had 2 different Dodge Cummins go down this week at work. One was a '99 and the other was an '07. Both were due to sensors and such. My IDI won't win any races but even I (Someone who pays someone else to work on their truck) can figure things out thanks to websites like this. The tranny...- C.J.

1994 F250 7.3L E4OD, 203k miles, $1800
Nothing wrong with that? I went with the Ford Reman. when I did mine. Tranny, tranny cooler and new rear gears for $3300. It cost me a lot more but I use my truck for work every day. The Ford Reman. tranny comes with a 3 year, unlimited mileage and no exclusion for commercial use warranty. You...- C.J.

What did everyone else do with their tax return
If you are owed a refund and don't file within 3 years, you have no more refund. However, on the flip side, if you owe; you still owe and get hammered with 100% penalty. typ4 cam
From what I gathered doing my research: The R&D cam is more appropriate for higher RPMs and the Type 4 is for lower RPMs. Someone wiser than I can confirm this or correct me.- C.J.

stacks or regular 4in exhaust?
Gay or not, I gotta admit that every time I downshift in a tunnel, I sport a chub listening to the sound coming out of my stack. And it puts a grin on my face fogging out a Prius. However, those 2 things pale to the dirty looks I get rolling through hippie town in a 'dirty stinky polluting...- C.J.

not enough power
I'll vouch for timing is everything. I took my rig in and had it timed and WOW what a difference in power and mileage did it make. Sure, it ain't no Powerstroke, but it's affordable and reliable as all get out and that adds up for the little guy in the long run.- C.J.

long cranking problem
I'm having this problem with my '90 E350 7.3 N/A. My truck starts right up then dies. I then have to crank it for a solid 15 to 20 seconds for it to start. If I don't drive it every day, this is a guaranteed thing and sometimes it even does it if I let it sit for a few hours and the fuel tank is...- C.J.
