Currently running the big block pump with the original idi pump arm, running great got 1,100 miles on it so far with no problems. But on a better note found out that the original pump arm fits perfectly in the Big block pump housing with no modifications to the pump arm. Ended up drilling and taping the ends for set screws just in case the pin tries to move around shouldn’t as it’s pressed in there pretty good.- BullDiesel

After about a thousand miles the pump arm broke. Looks like it’s from the constant pressure it was under as the arm was pressed against the cam lobe more than I liked were it would always be pulling the diaphragm up and never let it go down all the way.- BullDiesel

I checked out the pin and it hasn't moved, but I agree the pin needs to have a positive stop so it can't come out. I didn't think much about at the time don't know how I didn't. That's one scary dream my friend. Video didn't turn out so clear I guess, bit of a dunce moment.- BullDiesel

I reused the pin just drove it back in and hoped for the best. Thanks for bringing that up I haven’t check to see if it’s walking out or not. I hear you on the price of the pumps there not cheap by any means.- BullDiesel

6.9 idi CDD head studs.
Hello all I was looking at head stubs for my 6.9 idi and ran across the high tensile head studs on CDD website. looking around I haven't seen anyone talk about them, really looking if they can hold the heads down under higher boost. any thoughts are appreciated.- BullDiesel
