Actually displacement is only slightly larger 2.1L vs 2.3L. Where it shines is the twin vortices technology which greatly improves effeciency. The old M122 had a maximum speed of 14,000 rpm where as this TVS has a maximum of 19,000 rpm. Right now with my drive ratio I would have to rev the...
Added a few pictures of the old vs new.

No only grips the top. I had to add an idler to give it some wrap. This and a gator back belt gives me zero issues while the compressor is engaged. New blower is due to be dropped off tomorrow.
Motorcraft or IH dealer and pass on the China knock off stuff. I think a few vendors will have a better price. I have seen motorcraft for less than 200 on many aftermarket vendors.
Sounds like a bad CPS. A 7.3 CPS can cause all sorts of issues and one should always been in the glove box. Last time my CPS went out on July I was on a road trip and truck cut in and out 3 times made it home but a few days latter it was running horrible and cutting in an out. Got to work...
Well they are already slightly chunked up from several trips down rutted out logging roads. Just ordered the new supercharger it will be on its way shortly.
You can find 7.3 psd obs truck for cheaper than a running Cummins. You also have the ability to adjust different tunes on the fly and a good aftermarket base. Since your idi is still running might want to try and fix it first. What are your boost pressures? More boost could keep it cooler.
Since I posted this picture I did add a idler pulley to better wrap the AC compressor. I relocated the wiring running over the blower to beneath it and ran a hose from the CCV to blower inlet. Still need to reroute the heater hose so its not running over the top of the charger. Simply the blower...
Currently there is no bypass and it does need one. I will be adding a bypass after the new blower is installed. The newer blower is larger in displacement, has a higher ve up to 70 ish %, and has lower noise. The current blower is spun as far as I can to 10,000 rpm @ 4000 rpm. I can install an...
The first couple of years for the 6.7 were rough but Ford has been hammering the issues out. There have already been a few 6.7s in the 300-400k mile range with minimal issues. They have also pushed built 6.7s past 1500hp. As the price comes down I would love to have a 6.7 someday. All of the...
I don't come to this site very often but I was just droppping by to show you guys my supercharged powerstroke. I have been driving this daily for about 3 months now. It is a M122 feeding the stock turbo. I a larger blower is going to be on the way very soon. Along with injectors, tuning...
For 6K he just may be able to locate a 12V swapped older chevy. actually for 6K he could also build one but it sounds like he wants a turn key truck. If he does buy a 6.2 he will have money left over for repairs.
