    yea i just meant the two c6s should be around the same physical size. i'm gonna try a big body t-bird if i can find me a decent one. my truck has about rusted out from under the engine. the frame is good but all body parts are shot.

    are all 4 springs re-arched how much for them if so?

    a fully dressed 460 doesnt weigh that much less than a 6.9 does it?

    yea that is a good point. i figured if they came w/ a 460 it should use the same c6 there would be really no wiring. just one of my many brain farts.

    I was wondering if anyone had tried an idi in a early 80's or so station wagon? some of them came with big blocks and this could be a fun road trip vehicle.cookoo

    napas a no go but there is a spring shop across the river i'll try. wow 2 posts in three years guess i spend to much time just reading all the great advice on here.

    i have an 83 250hd. i had to cut the u-bolts to get them off and now i can't seem to find new ones big enough. they are 5/8 bolts 11" long noone has any that are 5/8 any suggestions? i tried the j/y but they are all smaller bolt size:dunno th reason for the need is my factory lift blocks...
