I was given a 2wd ZF6 that won't go into rev. easy fix or junk. I'm thinking sincronizer
ZF6 won't go in rev.

As you probably already know a ZF-6 is one heavy weight transmission.
Was this tranny off a Ford or a GM ? GM's are differrent, don't know how much differrent though.
Without the special holding fixture and a stout place to mount it, personally I wouldn't even try to disassemble it.
I can rest assure you it is no easy job. Takes a lot of special tools to tear down and put back together.
