ZF5 noise in 3rd gear

I bought a 96 F250 PSD a couple weeks ago and the ZF5 in it makes noise in 3rd gear.
It sounds a bit like if it would be in reverse.
The truck has 222200 miles on it.

I don't know when the fluid was changed last time and normally I change all my fluids if I buy a "new" car/truck but I want to wait a bit longer...I have to change my flywheel soon (the DMF is worn out).

Is this a known "problem" or what could it be?

Change the fluid first.
Could possibly be a roller bearing.
