I'm going to try and return it the manager is cool over at the VatoZone so we'll see.
The 2 old relays both sounded like they where broken inside when shaked new one wasn't like that hoping the new relay fixes the problem.

Hmm that seems to go against what I read(over at FTE)

The Relay Sounded like broken parts in side could be wrong but that's why I'm going to open it up.

Ok on the 85 here's the ignition wire/connector

And on the 86 the red ignition wire connecter plugs into this

on the 85 I don't have that.

Ok so still what is the point?

What truck is it you are working on to get running?

GET a Haynes and Chilton book...they have wiring diagrams...you can compare and trace what you need.

You could always take out all NON STOCK wiring return system to stock and add extra things like air horns and such later and do it correctly

Jasper that's what I was thinking but why would the ignition be in the same group/connector?

What do you mean by IGNITION?

It is tied to the positive LEAD but that doesnt mean it is tied to ignition...yes tied to solenoid...but doesnt mean ignition...there is a HUGE difference between the two.

It looks like trailer brake wiring to me however I cannot see what other colours are on that plug.

We started it by jumping relay started right up with help from starter fluid(GlowPlugs not working)
fired right up man it's loud. Anyways she took off in reverse. So now I'll hook the shifter up put in park and see if she'll start by key. I'll let y'all know tomorrow man I hope it's something simple like me not making sure it's in park -cuss
