What's the difference between '87 and '88 frames?

I'm looking for suspension kits and a RSK. I'm seeing kits that start at '88 and newer trucks.

Will these kits fit my '87?

Usually you see them listed "86-up f350". The shackle reversal kits only fit trucks with the dana 60 solid front axle and Ford started using those starting in 85.5. Don't know why it said 88-up.

having delt with 87 and 89 frames of the same caliber,
they are damn near identical

Frames same...turnover year is actually 92 where front frame horns got boxed completely.

I agree, frames are the same 87 thru 91. I swapped all suspension from 89 F-350 (srw) to an 87 F-250. Direct bolt in, no mods.
