I searched and see that some people are using the power heated towing mirrors off of later model dodges. Are these a simple installation and are they still powered and heated when installed in place of the power mirrors. Hopefully this afternoon I will become the proud owner of a 97 2500 with 90,000 miles on it.

i also need a set of wider towing mirrrows but they don't need to be power or heated. i've checked the web pages and am wondering if anyone has a sight that undersells most of the sights and ebay??

I'm asking you that.
i have a supplier who can get me the mirrors but he hasn't given me pricing.
therefore I don't know if he is being honest or not with me. I will probe him once I get some numbers in my hands to see if it is worthwhile to pursue it or not.

i've seen them as low as $160 for the pair, delivered and would have bought them had they not been on back order
i just called him.
he can do the std. non-towing mirrors for that price but not the towing mirrors.
at that price, he said you be better waiting until they get it back in stock.
