So, I pretty much gave up on finding a KO 12V source on my OEM Trailer wiring.

But I was looking to get a 4 pin harness, and a 7 pin. So, I go to Hopkins site. They list part number 40125 http://www.hopkinstowingsolutions.com/products/vehicle-wiring-harnesses/fordfseries.html

But, it no workie!

Here are the oem plugs on my 1993 F250

These connect to the trucks wiring. You don't show the other end that is the trailer connection.

The pigtails are available online, etrailer.com has diagrams, pirate 4x4 haa a 101 in towrigs, any trailersupply can get em.
They ran the wires to back bumper but only a 4 set not the 7 ?(yes)
I run a 10g from batt on truck thru a relay for 12v ( this gives charge to trailer on the road)
Look for the 7 flat with a 4 pin flat on the side coupler for bumper and save some work.

Hope this helps.

The oem plugs provide a 7 pin hookup.

I'm trying to do this without cutting ANY OEM wires. I REFUSE to use any type of vampire tap. They make P&P adapters for almost every application out there. I just can't find the adapter that fits my OEM plugs

I tried doing that on my old truck, it had lived in ND it's entire life.........
I pulled the plugs apart...... hooked up the adapter...... and lost every light on the rear.......
Had to cut the wires damn near to the cab just to find clean wires to solder to.............
From then on I run new wires from the rear of the cab all the way back, I won't touch those plugs on an old truck from the midwest, I learned my lesson.............

Funny, I've never had a problem with them.

My 93 came from Oregon, and has never been driven in a mid-west winter.

Best and only way I do them. Never once had an issue this way. Coat everything with terminal protectant and never have to worry about it. Plus it removes a 20 some year old plastic plug that most of the time breaks when it is unhooked

That adapter goes between the main tail light harnes plugs...for truck...not your factory trailer plugs
