What RPM Does The E4OD Shift At?

Hey all,

Just wondering when yall's IDI's shift, Whats normal?

If you accelerate somewhat hard, not necessarily WOT, does it shift at a lower or higher rpm?

If your just cruising and being laid back when will it normally shift?

Both of mine seem to do it right around 2500 empty about 3/4 throttle. Both E4DOA

You can tune your shift points using the FIPL on the side of the IP. Mine was shifting very early, even when getting on it. It would drop the RPM down around 1300, even lower when i was driving it gently. I adjusted the FIPL so that when cruising, my rpm after each shift is around 1800. Usually shifts around 3,000rpm now

Thanks for the info, its shifts very nice, hardly noticeable. Sometimes I feel it rides out the gear too long, but from what yall are saying I guess it's fine.

This is my truck, with the FIPL/TPS set to 1.20 volts

Thats about about 1/4 throttle
