0-60....eventually
Figured I'd report back my new mpg's with my van with the new IP, to show the difference it really does make!
With my old pump, I was getting at best 13mpg. Average was 11.5.
Here are my results from last weekend.
9 hour drive each way. 1800km (1200 miles) in 2 days.
16.8 MPG
15.1 MPG
15.5 MPG
16.7 MPG
16.8 MPG
16.4 MPG
14.9 MPG
14.1 MPG
That's with my '85 Extended E350 cargo van, 6.9L non turbo, C6, 4.10's.
I was doing ~60mph the whole trip!
With this setup. The van and empty trailer are around 8100lbs according to a scrap yard scale.
And FYI, these seats are NOT the greatest for long trips!....Neither is my gearing with the C6, was revving so high, I couldn't even hear my AM radio
And on my way back (and yes I drove 1200 miles to go get an old camper cap, 4 hubcaps and a bug deflector ) at the same time I dropped in at an old friends place.
And here she be, on my winter truck!
