Been gathering components for a turbo and ZF5 install on my 84’ 6.9 and every time I turn around, I’ve forgotten another important part/system. This time it’s the CDR.
I got a complete ATS093 style turbo setup, but no turbo valve covers. I haven’t found any listing for valve covers that weren’t expensive. Plus, my IDI’s VCs have been sautéing in oil and gravel dust for the past 38 years and have leak proofed themselves, and I hate doing valve covers. Seeing that I’d rather not go that route, what are other exit points to siphon out crankcase pressure? I saw some form of collared spacer that bolts between the timing cover and fill spout, but there seems to be some concerns of the timing gears spitting out too much oil.
