The vacuum pump is in the wrong spot, or at least what appears to be one.

I too am wondering bout the vacuum pump if thats what it is. Never seen that on any idi engine. I don't see anything telling me its a diesel either but the top radiater hose appears to be a diesel hose from and wide radiater.

Oh yeah right! The new super duty is one of the sexiest trucks ever made. However, I would not pay 60+thousand bucks for a truck that doesnt smoke, rattle or smell!

Isn't that the location for the vac pump on the 7.3 engines? I have seen some there before, don't remember the application.

On serp setups it's there.
But that one looks huge and higher up.

Maybe it was moved for a bigger ac pump or onboard air.

Can't go wrong with two hood scoops. Make sure the hood insulation gets lots of air.

One heck of a cowboy rig! I can imagine long horns on the hood and an 80's vintage horse trailer in tow headin to the rodeo!
