Most of the new turbos coming out all have speed sensors on them. This is because most also have some other geometry changing feature that is liable to clog up and make something stop working, so they watch the RPM with the ECM. As with most systems electronically monitored, the sensors tattle on each other, and make modifications a real ******.

No, he is correct, 2000 Revolutions per Second. They spin very fast. The blades spinning that fast, cutting the air, is what causes the whistle.

Doesn't anyone hear the BOOM BOOM as the blades hit the sound barrier? LOL
