Tube headers

Has anyone on here ever put headers on a 80s crown Victoria?Might have found a good running cheap one($350! Can't pass if it runs as good as he says).Thinking about getting it as a beater car to drive back and forth to work since I am putting a LOT of miles on my ranger.over 20K a year.Only modifications I want to do it it are true dual exhaust with glass packs and tube headers and maybe replace the carb(even though I will admit I don't know anything about the VVC ford used on the Police Vics in 1986).Loud exhaust,steel wheels,Rollered on flat black paint.....Ridge runner special.

VVC... is the the Variable Venturi Carb? If so... we had one on an 83 F-150 351M and it caused us all kinds of problems......

Yep,that's it.stupid 2 barrel thingy.Nothing changing the intake and carb won't fix....which I might have a stock 4Barrel intake for a 302 laying around....Can't remember what that core has on it.....
