transfer exhaust tailpipe from 93 single cab to 86 extended cab?

hey guys I'm getting a banks powerpack for my 93 single cab longbed big block and getting rid of my flowmaster exhaust thats on the truck already. I was wondering if I could take the tailpipe from the flowmaster and put it on my dads 86 ford extended cab longbed pickup. We already know we need an extension pipe because the 86 is longer than my single cab, just wondering if the tailpipe hangers will work in the stock position or would we have to put new hangers on the truck. Thanks. (the flowmaster has a 70 series muffler if that helps)
