Toyota Dyna 3.7L on black diesel?

Will a Dyna with the Toyota 14B engine run fine on black diesel? I imagine it will, but looking for insights from anyone with knownledge or experience with this engine.

14b is direct injected. Like any direct injected/multi orifice injector, they really don't like dirty fuel and will "coke" the injectors very easily. So filter your wmo well, centrifuge preferred, and you'll likely be okay.

Sad news… However I usually run clean hydraulic fluid. Is that better for the direct injection? Less coking?

@ut99dot1 is direct injection guru. If you look at his threads, he shows several pictures of his injectors. He has a direct injected VW, and he's pretty dog gone experimental.
