This is how we lose members on this forum. For the IDI newbie, it isn't the most intuitive thing to know how to time these beasts. Sometimes the biggest problem with researching these engines is knowing the right question to ask. If you don't even know that you don't know, then how do you search for what you don't know.
@culver21 , unfortunately, recently, the Ferret meter has been discontinued. There is another meter you can buy from a different source (ebay, i think), but I havent' looked into it because I already have a ferret adapter. But I've seen rumblings about getting the adapter on this and the FTE forum every few weeks from someone looking for one. They weren't cheap when they were in stock, and I'm assuming they are rising in price as the scarcity increases.
