Timing 6.9 with meter

Is it possible to use the 078-00100 meter on a 7.3? Service manual calls for a 00200 but they work the same other than the 00200 has a pulse clip instead of a lumocity probe right?

I'm taking a guess on this meter but is this the Rotunda meter? If so then yes, it wll time a 7.3 engine.

Good to know and yes it's the rotunda meter I'm talking about. I haven't seen the 7.3 pulse version for sale. I've been running across the 6.9 version every now and again. Now that I know I'm gonna snag the next one I see.

The 7.3 version has the black box that allows you to use the pulse method of timing. Otherwise these meters only time by the luminosity timing method. Those lumi probes are no longer available and if you break yours the meter is useless.
