Throw out bearing

Hey guys, I have my trans out while doing my rear main and I need a better throw-out bearing. The one in the LUK set was mostly plastic and it made alot of noise with the clutch engaged. Where do ya'll get yours? I would really like a all metal one, these plastic ones don't seem to be that hot.

I just put in a new one with my new clutch from Ft. Wayne smf conversion. I put a new fork in as well because of the wear on it. The new throwout bearing has a lot of plastic on it. I hope it lasts as long as the clutch.

These thowout bearings are supposed to be self centering and correctly shaped for the different pressure plates available. The pressure plate fingers and throw out bearing that came out sure looked different than the ones I put in. Ft. Wayne seemed knowledgeable so I trust they sent me the right stuff. It sure seems to be working great.

The one I got from them squeaked right away, I just replaced mine with a napa one, I'll see how that goes.

Just for the record, the bearing works well and is quiet. Just grease it up alot and it runs good and smooth.
